LAKE GALENA/MARINA UPDATE
The lake will reopen on Saturday morning, August 7, 2010.
If a member has a boat that is still in the water they can now go out on the lake.
If a member trailers their boat in and out they can launch again starting tomorrow.
The rental fleet will be available.
Not all docks will be put back in. The contractor is working on this now, but in the A-B-C-D area the water isn’t deep enough to run a boat! They will not finish putting docks in until next week.
Next week, after whatever docks that are going to be put back in are done, maintenance will re-launch member’s boats if they have a dock.
We will not be offering temporary launching service at this time. (This is when we would put boats in and out whenever the members want to use them). We don’t have the experienced staff available to handle this.
Anyone with a boat that was pulled and is on land (or destroyed and removed) will be offered discounted boat rental rates ($15 per hour for pontoon and $7.50 per hour for fishing boats).
